Top 100 Songs of 2011 (#1): J. Cole - "Return Of Simba"

Scratch your head all you want. As I made clear on the 'Welcome' page, this isn't a list of best songs rather my favorites and they are all free tracks. Before I go further about "Return Of Simba", I will say if I had included album singles #1 would have been Kendrick Lamar's "HiiiPower" followed at #2 by "Niggas In Paris".

But I'm crazy enough about this to say it beats everything on Cole World: The Sideline Story. I've never needed a hook because I don't dance much for sh!t so I would rather sit there and take in crazy rhymes. Cole establishes why he is arguably the best rapper out right now.

Just name any other emcee that could confidently put out a track like this declaring all the pioneers to move over. And do it prior to his debut album release? Insane.
